Engineered steel, STC-rated doors designed to maintain personnel and equipment access while controlling sound transmission across professional acoustic walls, studios, industrial enclosures, and specialist facilities
GET A CUSTOM QUOTEWhat Is a High-Performance Acoustic Door?
A high-performance acoustic door is an engineered doorset designed to control airborne sound while maintaining reliable operation and access. Unlike a standard architectural door, it combines a high-performance steel leaf with an engineered frame, acoustic seals, hinges and hardware to provide consistent sound isolation when closed. Noise-Lock® doors are available in a range of configurations and acoustic ratings to suit different architectural, industrial and security applications.
How Acoustic Doorset Performance Is Achieved?
Acoustic performance is determined by how the individual components work together as an integrated system. An acoustic door can only perform as intended when it is installed as part of a suitably engineered acoustic envelope.
The walls, ceilings and other building elements surrounding the doorset should provide acoustic performance appropriate to the required level of sound isolation.
For desired results, Noise-Lock® doorsets should therefore be integrated with professionally engineered acoustic wall and ceiling systems, ensuring that the surrounding structure does not become a weaker path for sound transmission.
Save 30 Minutes on Every IAC Acoustic Door Installation!
Pre-assembled acoustic doors reduce average installation time by at least 30 minutes compared with conventional kit doors. For projects with multiple doors, these savings can significantly reduce overall installation costs.
Our Acoustic Door Systems
A comprehensive range of high-performance steel acoustic doors designed for architectural, industrial and security applications. Noise-Lock® and Super Noise-Lock® acoustic doors can be engineered with different acoustic ratings, frame configurations, sealing systems, hardware and access-control options to meet project-specific requirements.
Configure Your Acoustic Doorset
Build the right door solution for your project. Choose from a range of options to match your technical and design requirements. Select your door type and model, frame and threshold, fire rating, opening direction and hardware. Define the required door and wall dimensions, add an integrated acoustic vision panel, and customise the finish, colour and leaf/frame appearance. Finally, specify the installation environment and configuration to complete your door setup.
Once submitted, the IAC team will review your project requirements and provide a tailored acoustic doorset recommendation and quotation.
