Acoustic Louvers for Noise Control Without Restricting Airflow in a Marine Environment

  • The Direct Air Capture system required effective acoustic control while maintaining the airflow essential to the capture process. The acoustic solution also needed to withstand the demanding conditions of a floating marine test platform.

Engineered solution

How we solved it

SL-300 Acoustic Louvers designed to combine continuous airflow with acoustic attenuation. The louvers were manufactured from 1.4571 stainless steel and supplied with fixing frames for installation on the floating test platform.
